Garlic Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients
- For the Pasta:
- 12 oz spaghetti or fettuccine 🍝
- 2 tbsp olive oil 🫒
- 3 tbsp butter 🧈
- 4 garlic cloves, minced 🧄
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined 🍤
- 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes 🌶️ (optional)
- 0.5 cup cherry tomatoes, halved 🍅
- 0.5 cup white wine or seafood broth 🍷 (optional)
- 0.5 cup heavy cream (for a creamy version) 🥛
- 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, grated 🧀
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped 🌿
- 0.5 lemon, juiced 🍋
- Salt & black pepper to taste
Instructions
- 11️⃣ Cook the Pasta
- 2Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- 3Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of pasta water. 🍝✨
- 42️⃣ Sauté the Garlic & Shrimp
- 5In a large pan, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
- 6Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- 7Toss in the shrimp and season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- 8Cook until shrimp turn pink and opaque (about 2-3 minutes per side). Remove shrimp and set aside. 🍤🔥

- 10In the same pan, add cherry tomatoes and cook for 1-2 minutes until they soften.
- 11Pour in white wine or seafood broth and let it reduce by half.
- 12Stir in heavy cream and let simmer for 3 minutes. 🥘🍅

- 14Add the cooked pasta and shrimp back into the pan.
- 15Sprinkle in Parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, and lemon juice.
- 16Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water if needed for a silky sauce. 🍋🧀
