Tripleta Sandwich with Garlic Mayo

Ingredients

  • For the Garlic Mayo:
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
  • 1 tbsp lime juice 🍋
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • For the Sandwich Filling:
  • 0.5 lb shredded rotisserie chicken 🍗
  • 0.5 lb thinly sliced steak (sirloin or flank) 🥩
  • 0.5 lb sliced ham 🍖
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp adobo seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • For Assembly:
  • 4 pan sobao or sub rolls 🥖
  • 4 slices Swiss or provolone cheese 🧀
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce 🥬
  • 0.5 cup tomato slices 🍅
  • 0.5 cup crispy fries or potato sticks 🍟
  • 0.25 cup pickles (optional)

Instructions

  1. 11️⃣ Make the Garlic Mayo
  2. 2In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, minced garlic, lime juice, black pepper, salt, and paprika.
  3. 3Stir well and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes for flavors to meld.
  4. 42️⃣ Cook the Meat
  5. 5Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  6. 6Season the steak slices with adobo, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika.
  7. 7Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, then set aside.
  8. 8In the same pan, warm the ham and shredded chicken for 2 minutes.
  9. 93️⃣ Assemble the Sandwich
  10. 10Slice pan sobao or sub rolls in half and toast them lightly.
  11. 11Spread garlic mayo generously on both sides of the bread.
  12. 12Layer with steak, ham, and shredded chicken.
  13. 13Add a slice of Swiss or provolone cheese.
  14. 14Top with lettuce, tomatoes, crispy fries or potato sticks, and pickles.
