Garbanzos Guisados (Stewed Chickpeas) with Rice
Story
The rain tapped gently against the window panes, and the garden outside shimmered under the soft drizzle. 🌧️🌿 Don Luis sat on the porch of his childhood home, wrapped in the warmth of his Abuela Rosa’s kitchen magic. Inside, the familiar aroma of simmering sofrito filled the air. Abuela stirred a big pot of Garbanzos Guisados, her favorite dish to brighten a rainy day. “Mijo,” she called out with a knowing smile, “these chickpeas will hug your soul!” 🥰💛 When she ladled the garbanzos over a plate of steaming white rice and handed it to Don Luis, it felt like a warm hug in every bite. The rich sauce, earthy chickpeas, and perfect blend of spices reminded him that the best meals are the ones made with love. Now, it’s time to bring this soulful Puerto Rican dish to your table! 🏡✨ Prep & Cook Time
