Lomo Saltado (Peruvian Stir-Fry)
Story
As Don Luis quickly tossed the beef strips and tomatoes in the sizzling wok, the fusion of Peruvian and Asian flavors created a mouthwatering aroma. “Lomo Saltado is a dish that celebrates bold spices, tender beef, and vibrant veggies,” he said. “It’s a hearty meal that’s both comforting and exciting—a real family favorite.” This Lomo Saltado recipe combines marinated beef, stir-fried vegetables, and a savory sauce, served over steamed rice and crispy French fries for a dish that’s equal parts flavorful and satisfying. Let’s make the Don Luis Special version, ensuring every bite is tender, saucy, and packed with bold Peruvian flavors! 🔥

Instructions
- 11️⃣ Marinate the Beef:

- 42️⃣ Cook the Fries & Rice – While the beef marinates, prepare the French fries until golden and crisp. Cook the white rice and keep warm. 🍚🍟✨
- 53️⃣ Stir-Fry the Beef & Veggies:
- 63️⃣ Heat the Wok – Heat a large wok or skillet over high heat. Add vegetable oil and swirl to coat. 🫒🔥
- 74️⃣ Cook the Beef – Remove the beef from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and sear in the hot wok until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside. 🥩🔥

- 127️⃣ Plate the Lomo Saltado – Serve hot over a bed of white rice, topped with a generous handful of crispy French fries. Garnish with fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime if desired. 🥩🍅🌿
