Ropa Vieja with Sweet Plantains

Prep: 20 minutesCook: 2.5 hours

Story

As Don Luis shredded the tender, slow-cooked beef, he smiled, knowing this dish carried the warmth of generations. “Ropa Vieja means ‘old clothes,’ but don’t let the name fool you,” he said. “This dish is all about rich, slow-simmered flavors, tender beef, and that perfect balance of sweet and savory when paired with fried plantains.” This Ropa Vieja with Sweet Plantains is a Cuban classic—savory, comforting, and packed with Latin flavors. Let’s make the Don Luis Special version, ensuring each bite is juicy, flavorful, and unforgettable! 🔥 Prep & Cook Time
