Garlic Butter Shrimp with Sweet Plantains

Ingredients
- For the Garlic Butter Shrimp:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined 🍤
- 3 tbsp butter 🧈
- 4 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 0.5 tsp salt 🧂
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes (optional) 🔥
- 2 tbsp lemon juice 🍋
- 0.25 cup fresh parsley, chopped 🌿
- For the Sweet Plantains:
- 3 ripe plantains, peeled & sliced 🍌
- 2 tbsp butter, melted 🧈
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- 0.5 tsp salt
Instructions
- 11️⃣ Cook the Sweet Plantains
- 2Heat butter in a pan over medium heat.
- 3Add sliced plantains, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- 4Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden and caramelized.
- 5Remove from heat and set aside.
- 62️⃣ Sauté the Garlic Butter Shrimp
- 7In a pan, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
- 8Add garlic, sautéing for 1 minute until fragrant.
- 9Toss in shrimp, paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- 10Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until shrimp turn pink.
- 11Stir in lemon juice and fresh parsley, then remove from heat.
