Shrimp Tacos with Cilantro Lime Crema

Ingredients
- For the Shrimp:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined 🍤
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 0.5 tsp cumin
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder 🧄
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- Juice of ½ lime 🍋
- For the Cilantro Lime Crema:
- 0.5 cup sour cream
- 0.25 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp lime juice 🍋
- 1 clove garlic, minced 🧄
- 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped 🌿
- 0.5 tsp salt
- For the Tacos:
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas 🌮
- 1 cup shredded cabbage or slaw mix 🥬
- 0.25 cup red onion, thinly sliced 🧅
- 0.5 cup fresh pico de gallo 🍅
- 1 jalapeño, sliced (optional) 🌶️
- Fresh cilantro for garnish 🌿
Instructions
- 11️⃣ Make the Cilantro Lime Crema
- 2In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, garlic, cilantro, and salt.
- 3Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
- 42️⃣ Cook the Shrimp
- 5In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 6Heat a pan over medium-high heat, then cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- 7Remove from heat and squeeze fresh lime juice over them.

- 9Warm tortillas in a dry pan or over an open flame for 30 seconds per side.
- 10Add shredded cabbage, then top with cooked shrimp.
- 11Drizzle with cilantro lime crema and garnish with pico de gallo, red onion, and fresh cilantro.
- 12Add sliced jalapeños for extra heat! 🌶️
