Season 10 - Breakfast / S10B02
Avena (Puerto Rican Oatmeal)
Story
Every morning in Puerto Rico, the scent of cinnamon and vanilla danced through the air like a lullaby that refused to end. For Don Luis, mornings weren’t complete without a steaming bowl of avena made with love and full of flavor. He remembers watching his mamá stir the pot with her wooden spoon, humming softly as the oatmeal thickened, and sneaking a spoonful before it even made it to the table. 🍯 Today, Don Luis still makes avena the same way — creamy, spiced, and sweet, just how the island likes it. It’s the perfect breakfast for chilly mornings, lazy weekends, or any moment when you need to feel at home. This isn’t just oatmeal… this is *Avena Boricua.* 🇵🇷✨ Time + 🍽️ Calories + 💰 Cost
