Season 10 - Dinner / S10D27
Dominican Pollo a la Crema (Creamy Chicken)
Story
Don Luis still remembers the first time he had Pollo a la Crema in the heart of Santiago, DR. It was at a family reunion, where the laughter was loud, the dominoes slammed hard on the table, and the aroma of garlic and crema danced in the air. The chicken was tender, the sauce rich, and every bite reminded him of abuela’s magic touch. 💫 Years later, in his own rustic kitchen, Don Luis recreated the dish for his grandkids. As they dipped warm rice into the creamy sauce, they lit up with joy. “Abuelito,” they said, “this tastes like a hug!” And that’s exactly what this dish is — a warm Dominican hug on a plate. 🤗🍽️
