Ingredientes
- para the Ropa Vieja:
- 2 lbs flank steak (o chuck roast), cut into grande pieces 🥩
- 1 tbsp aceite de oliva 🫒
- 1 cebolla, thinly sliced 🧅
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced 🔴
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced 🫑
- 3 cloves ajo, minced 🧄
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomates 🍅
- 1 cup carne broth 🥣
- 0.5 cup dry white wine 🍷
- 1 tsp cumin 🏺
- 1 tsp paprika ahumada 🌶️
- 0.5 tsp oregano 🌿
- 1 tbsp tomate paste 🍅
- 0.5 cup green olives, sliced 🫒
- 1 tbsp capers 🌿
- sal & pepper to taste 🧂
- fresco cilantro para termina 🌿
- para Serving:
- White rice 🍚
- Sweet plátanos 🍌
Instrucciones
- 11️⃣ Sear the carne 🔥
- 21️⃣ calienta aceite de oliva in a grande pot o Dutch oven over mediano-high calienta.
- 32️⃣ Sear the carne on both sides until golden brown. Remove y reserva.
- 42️⃣ saltea the Aromatics 🌶️🧄
- 53️⃣ In the same pot, add cebollas, bell peppers, y ajo.
- 64️⃣ saltea para 5 minutes until softened y fragrant.

- 85️⃣ Add crushed tomates, tomate paste, carne broth, white wine, cumin, paprika, oregano, sal, y pepper.
