But one day, Don Luis spotted something different—ooey gooey queso stretching from a pastelillo like it was a slice de pizza 🍕. She winked y whispered, “It’s my pizza invention.” From that day on, Don Luis became obsessed con mixing his love para Italian flavors con puertorriqueño crunch. Ingredientes
- 10 empanada discs (Goya o similar) 🥟
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella queso 🧀
- 0.5 cup pizza sauce 🍅
- 20 slices de pepperoni (2 per pastelillo) 🍕
- 1 egg (para egg wash) 🥚
- opcional: dried oregano & ajo en polvo 🌿🧄
- Oil para frying o air fryer spray 🛢️✨
Instrucciones
- 1Lay it down: Place the empanada discs on a clean surface. Let them come to room temp para easier folding.
