Season 01 - Breakfast / S01B14
Guava and Cheese Pastries
Story
As Don Luis took a bite of the warm, flaky pastry, the sweet guava paste oozed out, perfectly blending with the creamy cheese. “In Puerto Rico,” he said, “sweet and salty is a love story that never ends. Guava and cheese—wrapped in buttery pastry—is the taste of home.” Served with a steaming cup of café con leche, these Guava and Cheese Pastries (Pastelillos de Guayaba y Queso) are a timeless treat for breakfast or dessert. Today, we’re crafting them with a little extra love to make every bite unforgettable.
