Season 09 - Breakfast / S09B11
Tres Leches Oatmeal with Cinnamon
Story
Don Luis remembers chilly mornings in the highlands of Puerto Rico, where his abuela used to make avena so thick and creamy, it could almost be dessert. Inspired by the sweet joy of Tres Leches cake, he created this comforting twist on traditional oatmeal—perfect for kids (and grown-ups) who need a warm hug in a bowl. 💛🥄 As he stirs the pot with a wooden spoon, Don Luis hums an old bolero, steam rising around him like morning mist. “La vida,” he says, “should start sweet—especially on Mondays.” 😉 Time, Nutrition & Cost
